Exhibition of beautiful batik artwork by local textile artist Jane Sharp is now open at the Old Bath House

We were thrilled when Wolverton-based artist Jane Sharp offered to display her work in the Old Bath House for all our visitors to enjoy! Batik is an ancient Indonesian art, where cloth is decorated using wax and dyes. Jane’s personal twist on Batik incorporates her love of stitching and beading, and the outcome is an array of bold, colourful, intricately-crafted designs.

Jane’s work will be adding a little creative magic to the corridor outside the main hall until early June, and we would thoroughly recommend a visit! The Old Bath House is open on weekday evenings from 6-8pm or Saturdays from 10-4. More information about Jane’s work can be found at www.msjanesharp.com or on her Facebook page (Jane Sharp Artist).
